With regards to Snodgrass

I have just been made aware of something that is important to the future of Leeds United, with regards to Robert Snodgrass.

It is easy to not notice, but since Snoddy's future with the club came into question, the chanting of his name has completely vanished.

I had a think about the few games I've been to recently, as well as any I've listened to or watched on the TV, and couldn't help but notice that this may have something to it.

I think it is important for the fans to let Snodgrass know we want him to stay. While I think it is important to keep an air of caution around any optimism some fans choose to have, and as such not get carried away, I think it's important in this instance for the fans who do attend the game tomorrow to do what they do best - let Snodgrass know we want him to stay.

Based on his comments at the recent Lorimer's Bar, I know, you know, we all know that if he does decide to stay, it will be because of the fans, not Warnock or the board of directors. He's quite clear disgust at the way the club have handled other players is likely to be a deciding factor, but if he feels the offer on paper is good enough regardless of those who offered it, and that the fans really want him to stay, he might do what we all want him to, and sign on the dotted line. At the end of the day, he's nothing to lose. If we don't get promoted he can leave at the end of the season.

No, if Snodgrass moves on the club haven't done their job properly. If we were in a position where we wouldn't suffer for Snodgrass moving on, then the club would have done their job properly. As it is, I doubt we'll stand a chance without him in the side, based on our history of "replacing" our best players.

i agree harrow,i think he will leave whatever is offered, read on another forum that he was offered 20k with getout clause but he can easily get more in the premiership, even from the promoted teams

Good luck to the lad, been with us a few years and carried the team a few times.
Stay another season with us or join a prem team for more money. I'd love him to stay but thInk he'll be offered more money and take it in the premier league. He may not have the pace of the premier league but if they sign him he'll have the bumper contract pay. In a job where a bad tackle can end your career what would you do?

If I were him I'd leave, no point sticking around the bates circus when you have an opportunity to do better.

Maybe he wants to play for the club?

I can't believe a suggestion to sing for Snodgrass to show him how much we love him has attracted 4 1 star ratings

eric onion is at it again, trying to take the moral high ground by saying he's ok with "reasonable" posts and then avoiding, ignoring, deleting any posts that suggest that the club is going backwards and will continue to go backwards until the ownership changes, regardless of how reasonable that view is.

Apparently "negative" and "reasonable" are mutually exclusive, and doing anything but assuming we'll get the best outcome no matter how unlikely is unreasonable.
