Kean’s thoughts on why we have lost 6 out of our last 7:
“We were on a very good run with back to back wins and clean sheets and we come up against Bolton and it is the biggest penalty shout you have seen at 0-0.
“Junior Hoilett was through and had a blatant foul on him. I am not one to complain but that was a massive factor because if we had scored the first goal we would have gone on to get three points against Bolton.
“I think that broke a sequence for us. Then we had a tricky run just like Tottenham had.
“The question was why have we gone on this run and that penalty was a big aspect of it. If we had got three more points that would be massive."
Kean’s thoughts on the Spurs game:
“We have got plenty of fight and plenty of fire in our belly. I disagree with anyone who says we haven't. I look at the physical stats from Sunday's game and the way we set up and I would be very surprised if they were not very high."
Kean’s thoughts on our survival hopes:
“But there have been many times when people have written us off. Saying it is done and dusted and we are not going anywhere and we have bounced back.
“We have to bounce back with two wins and there is no reason why we can't. I have 100 percent belief that we can still do this."

I'm going with insane. I think it's great how, when he was receiving calls from other managers saying what a good job he was doing, he took it all as gospel, but now he's receiving criticism from several people in the game, he's just kind of sticking his fingers in his ears and going, "La, la, la, la, la!"
Insane, lying, or both?

Nicked the below from the LET's forum:
"The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns as it were instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish spurting out ink."

I love that back to back wins is considered a "run" whereas 5 defeats on the trot is just bad luck...

Spin, spin, spin. He has been doing it all year. At one stage I thought he was going to be hung out to dry for his stupidity by the media as an absolute fruit cake, but then they rallied round and started supporting and protecting him, for some strange, obscure reason.

A worrying statistic, we've conceded 7 goals in injury time this season. That's two more than anyone else.

Motd he is nearly a Saint and should be praised in the Vatican !We are all bad lads at Ewood and dont appreciate genius when we see it.

Genius is in the eyes of the beholder namely Kean and MOTD pundits.
For some inexplicable reason many fans of other clubs seem to be agreeing with them. Probably better to be at Rovers than their own clubs.

I just wish other clubs will take our own Comical Ali away and we can get back to footy.

Well there is now a Premier League club looking for a new manager, will they look at the master that is Steve Kean?

All; I too thought they would hang him out to dry, but then came the "protests" by the paying customer and the media found it easier and more sell-able to blame the fans than the incompetent manager. All these media blokes are closet wannabee or ex-"stars" and they would much rather blame a bunch of people they don't really ever want to meet face to face than someone that might someday give them their own 5 minutes of fame. Pathetic innit?
Happy May Day, soon be cricket season,
