More about me:
Daren lad, Daren ender in the glorious sixties. Apart from Duggy, I loved watching Mike England, the first modern CB in the country. First game attended, 1957 I think against Rotherham(?) and I sat on that little bench that ran inside the wall on the Riverside, about 2 feet from Eddie Quigley's legs and near enough to Roy Vernon to smell his breath(!) My mate had a rattle and the players hated it! I was even younger when Dad took me to Turf Moor to see Stanley Mathews (I carried a buffet to stand on), he didn't play and I cried all the way home. I've been crying at footballers ever since!!
