Bales left foot: what was your honest prediction at the start of the season where spurs would finish?

burghandy : I honestly didn't predict. With the signings of Ade and Parker I thought we could beat Arsenal in the league.
During AVB's tenure at Chelsea I thought we'd finish well clear of them.
Then Capello resigned.

I think the problem is we didn't add real quality in jan but i think that's was more levy's fault not allowing Harry spending any money.

If only we knew who made those decisions burghandy.
Levy let him sell Pav, but not spend any of it?

With Arsenal losing fab & nasri i thought we would finish top 4 no problem and above them
Harry has won 1 trophy in 18 yrs, hardly Fergi is he

Weare I think you were the very few who did then as they had a forum that I think you can still see on the bbc of phil mcnulty and hundreds of fans predictions for the season and hardly anyone said we would be in the top four so you must be a massive optimist!

To be fair though burghandy our season didn't start till the transfer window closed - it's a bit unfair to judge expectations when we didn't have Parker or Ade, and we did have a sulking Modric.

.. How often are the punits right
but at the end of the day it does not matter, we were 11 points clear and have collapsed for the second season running, i dont mind losing a few but being second bottom of the league for last 10 games is not exceptable
If we had spent the right money on the right players last summer i believe our squad could of challenged for the title but we messed up big time
