Diouf rumours still flying around. He is a player that seems difficult to manage and has a love hate relationship where ever he goes.
Warnock says he needs more "Leeds type players that will revile at Elland Road" instead of going missing from hostile Leeds atmosphere - does Diouf fit that bill??
What is a "Leeds type player?"
- Batty (showed lots of passion & committment)
- Vinny (had a no fear attitude)
-Macca (remembered for his skill to pick out a perfect pass)
- Bremmer (a never say die attitude)
Matteo seems to think that Warnock is the man to tame Diouf: http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/latest-whites-news/leeds-united-warnock-s-the-man-to-handle-wild-card-diouf-matteo-1-4512644
I aint a big fan of Diouf but feel, with the right players around him he would have a bigger impact than departing Webber, Nunez, Paytner, etc with regards to an attacking option.
Thoughts?
Is "Diouf" a Leeds type of player?

Stevie, what I really liked was the use of two goalies.
Brilliant really. At corners, one can play the goal line
while the other attacks the ball. And in crunch time,
if we're losing (which will never happen with 14)
one goalie can stay back and the other can join the
forwards. I love it. Hope Roy Hodgson reads ja606?

We're assuming that the tactics are made clear to them and that they both don't come for the ball at the same time of course. Tactics don't appear to have been our strong point of late........

Great point Stevie. Overlooked that one. Well, that's
why we paid for a top manager: to get the best out
of our starting 14.

Re Brown and his pay, Colin does say
'...at this stage of his career...'
Which would suggest that Brown has accepted he is not getting a long term deal on big money at his age. Oh that some others in the past were as sensible eh...?
He also says '... and with the others I want to bring in...' which suggests to me that he's got others in mind to do the running other than Brown.
Others have said that Brown has upped his game since Colin arrived.
I reckon that Brown might end up captain.

Sky are reporting Colin as saying
'...Warnock insists the door is not closed on Clayton to win his place back in his plans if they do not get the right fee for him this summer.
"If we don't get the figures, Adam will come back and fight for his place and that's what I have said to him," added Warnock.
"It does not mean the end of the world for these players. I have just got to look to wheel and deal and I want to bring in a large influx of players.
"We let five or six go yesterday and let two or three go a couple of weeks ago so we are working on thinning the wage bill so I can bring players in."
Pretty clear eh..?
