I think it's more giving Walker a rest against inferior teams or an early sub and giving Naughton a go

Walker has shown he can take a full season. Full backs don't need resting!

Naughton to cover RB AND LB, will get enough games. Sell Charlie, loan out Rose to a prem team who will play him at LB.

I have had this discussion quite a bit with spurcat and others but he should be a stand out left back.

On the right he drifts inside (for no apparent reason) in rather humourous fashion leaving us completely exposed at the back.

On the left he is more positionally aware and more comfortable despite being right footed.

Naughton can also play centre back and centre midfield if necessary.

Walker can play very well at left back and is ok at centre back also.

Yes and no.

He has made his annoyance known at being recalled and not possibly playing often. And also that he thinks he can do a job for Spurs if he is allowed to play.

I am happy for players to have "utility value" if/when things come to the worst, but not to force them to do so when their natural position is known.

If Naughton is a natural RB, then that is where he must play.

Don't think he will make it as a Spurs player (would love to be proved wrong - more so as he is a forward) .
