Why is everyone ruling him out of a place for England? Just because he plays for Norwich doesn't mean that he is a bad striker and you shouldn't call him up. Sure, there are better strikers out there like Rooney, Sturridge, Bent etc but don't you think he deserves a chance? I would love to see him in and I think he deserves a chance, if not then he can wave goodbye.
Wayne Rooney - A great striker yes but he will be missing the first 2 games of the Euro's due to Suspension.
Darren Bent - Again another good striker but could miss the start with an Injury.
Danny Welbeck - Hasn't really been on top form this season for Man United and I don't think he will be able to help us.
Daniel Sturridge - A good striker but again, could have had a better season than what he has. But I would consider him.
Who else is there? You add and I'll give the descriptions. People are saying that oh yeah England are going down hill because we are getting players from Norwich etc and we won't get anywhere. I will admit these are tough times for England and might not do as well as expected but you got to give them a chance. Who knows, it sounds unlikely but they might do ok this season.
But personally I think that England aren't as good as what they used to be and they might not do as well as expected (like I've mentioned) but lets still give these guys a chance. Again, they might be good for us and might do better than what we think. Don't underestimate them just yet.
Grant Holt for England?

None of what? The U21's?
There are some good players coming through and could be at some of the best clubs in the World very soon or some of them are.
Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain
Nathaniel Clyne
Ross Barkley
Emmanuel Frimpong
What about the ones that are close to coming through/have done
Danny Welbeck
Jordan Henderson
Jack Wilshere
Phil Jones
Kyle Walker

I've put some on there
Wilshere has been hit with Injuries but is still a Top Class player.
Jones is starting to find a place in the Man United team and with more work will become a Top Class defender
The same goes for Kyle Walker
Danny Welbeck, I only criticise him because he hasn't done that well for Man United this season but might in the next couple of years
Henderson really the same as Welbeck
AOC is coming through and looks like a World Class player atm
Nathaniel Clyne is wanted by some of the biggest clubs in England and is doing well in the U21's
Ross Barkley the same as Clyne
Emmanuel Frimpong showing signs of improvement and is another one for the future

But you can't compare them to Europe yet because they all need there time first. They all have time to become better players. Also lets be realistic here, we won't be as good as Spain, Germany and Holland in the next 5 years but we might be good enough to challenge with some of the other International Giants like Brazil (maybe a little too optimistic there) and Argentina which we are already doing.

But our players will be good enough to play for England and maintain there current position on Fifa Rankings and could possibly shift us above the likes of Argentina and other International teams like them.

Richards has to play for me, fast strong and a good defender, he also adds a massive physical presence in both boxes.
Also Carrick must play, just wish Scholes would come join him!!
