Defoe

Wigan, Crouch!

Holt has 16 this season and if he is lucky might well get 20 goals.

Experience isn't really an excuse. You have to start somewhere you can't just say, you have no first team experience so we don't want you. It just doesn't work that way.

Carroll have you seen his record this season?
Crouch I've just mentioned
Zamora... not bad
Possibly should take them both just incase depending on who they want to pick.

If Holt is considered then so should Danny Graham

Sideshow, He may well be but you need to give him a chance. Europe will be tough for him but he has done well in the PL so he deserves a chance I think.

BK, Defoe can't find a starting place at Tottenham so why would you want him?

Holt has 16 this season BK compared to Graham's 13. Holt has done the better but still Graham hasn't done so badly.

The only reason I would have Holt is because he can flick balls onto the striker who will be running through. He can win free-kicks, headers from set-pieces and can finish a ball as he has proven this season.

The only weakness is that the Ref's might give him a hard time but you have got to give him a chance.

Be home before rooney can do anything about it anyway doesnt matter who you take lol

Ok so we have Rooney and possibly Bent missing. Why can't we have

-------------Holt------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------Welbeck------------------

Or we can change Welbeck with your Zamora's, Defoe's, Sturddidge's etc.

Holt can flick a ball on and can hold it up for the wingers that we have which could be a key factor for us because England do have some good wingers.

Lampard or gerrard will play behind Wellbeck

have you seen crouchs record for england.... he will deffinatly give defenders somthing to think about with his height and he has experience of big compititions

one season in the PL means nothing and it was when he was playing in a style which suited him with players he knew

Sturridge Rooney Young
Welbeck

Well it is time to give someone else a chance. I would personally love to see him in the squad and I would love to see him play. This would be my team

Hart
Walker Cahill/Jagielka Terry Cole
Parker Lampard
Walcott Rooney Young
Holt/Welbeck

You all have rooney playing lol he is out of first two games

We know that but that is what we would hope. We could possibly have Gerrard there and we all know that with Gerrard's record and experience he would be able to shoot from long range, take free-kicks, provide good passes out wide etc so he would also be a good fit.

Tbf the two players who have consistently performed for England are Crouch and Defoe, still surprised that they dont get a look in.

Defoe might do because he has scored as many as Holt and has a good goalscoring record. But I would be disappointed to not see Holt jump on that plane.

Not a bad team there actually Paynter. Unsure on the back 4 it could be better, Crouch
