Ask the simple question - Why?

If you have not read the article below and your bored in work on a bank holiday Monday like me this is worth a read.

http://rangerstaxcase.wordpress.com/2012/05/05/miller-industries/

Not some sensationalist article claiming Miller to be "Whyte Mk II", far from it in fact, but does point to one main factor to be asked of Bill Miller:

Why would someone with no interest in 'soccer' buy a football club in Scotland that is truly in the financial gutter?

What does he hope to achieve as football is hardly a money making business in the promised land of the EPL so exactly what does he hope to achieve buying Rangers?

I would if I knew mate

But its still a WIP and while I thought all would be clear in the morning (Tuesday) it may take a little longer to pan out.

Put it this way 10 days ago Mr Miller wanted no sanctions and only stopped short of demanding Rangers get a 10 point start on the rest.

Then his bid is unconditional

Today he decided not to attend a meeting which could have sealed our fate.

mmmmm

Now a lot is made of Mr Millers lack of Rangers or even Scottish background.

This is a direct quote. Now tell me if it sounds like a guy who knows nothing about us or cares only in the money.

Now not the word 'our'

This is a guy who doesnt own us.

One thing is for certain, I would fight tooth and nail to protect our titles and trophies. There is no way I would concede anything to an envious bunch of vindictive and bitter, narrow-minded, self-important individuals who see a weakened and defenceless rival, vulnerable to any form of attack. They are clearly working to the maxim that "the best time to kick an opponent is when he is down".
