Bile?

Duke its actually a reasonably balanced article and gives a bit of background to the guy. Nothing in the article can be described as bile...

The article actually portrays Miller as a level-headed individual.

Not hysterical at all. Only asks the question about his motives.

Why does anyone do anything?

Maybe he thinks he can turn Rangers around and sell them on for a profit in due course.

You know, a debt free club, running within its means with huge potential and current audience, large stadium etc......

Don't need to reed more rubbish from RTC to come up with that.

Ive no idea about said article but as their is page upon page about him on less vomit inducing web sites Ill stick with that.

The question of motivation is looms large on all.

That would be a fair assumption DC but the guy doesn't seem rich enough to just hand over £11m on what can only be seen as a major risk.

Not saying the guy isnt wealthy, just not THAT rich...

Ask Fergus McCann, I am sure he will enlighten you
------------
Curly, McCann was a Celtic supporter.

He was originally from Glasgow but moved to Canada.

What bit?

McCann didn't buy Celtic in times such as these.

That much of a supporter he walked away withy mega millions after doing what he set out to achieve - make a fast buck
----------
What did you want him to do?

He totally transformed the club structure, built the new stadium, and on the sale of his shares then donated £1.5m to the club to develop a youth academy.

The fact he made money at it is testimony to the fact he was good at his job where a cursory glance at what has happened to Rangers suggests that the 'for every £5 Celtic spend' business mantra and the subsequent sale of the club for £1 suggests others should have perhaps followed his example...

Lets get this straight then

Any businessman who wants to turn around a global product that he can get for a song , must have some association with said product?

Cant see that working

posted on 7/5/12

Not actually much in the article. The guy's just lookin for reasons to start the Miller-bashing ball rolling but can't find anything. Non story really

Fergus McCann saw a profit but he never made a secret of this, right from the beginning.

He remained hard-nosed when guys like Traynor, and lots of fans, were calling him out for the biscuit tin approach.

Thank fek for Fergus.

..............

It's part and parcel of what he is POTENTIALLY buying into.
Whytie admitted he wasn't ready for it, and he has a diamond hard neck.

Maybe, just maybe, Rangers fans might eventually say the same thing about miller.

posted on 7/5/12

anyway if you dig deep its all their ie why Mr Miller should want to buy Rangers.

Problem for vomit blog is its mostly positive.

Absolutely not. It does however stand to reason that if there are no emotive links to a venture then the only reward is financial - or else why bother?

How then do you make money from owning Rangers if as he says the days of financial mismanagement is over?
