England Test squad against West Indies:
Batsmen:
Andrew Strauss (Middlesex, capt)
Alastair Cook (Essex)
Jonathan Trott (Warwickshire)
Kevin Pietersen (Surrey)
Ian Bell (Warwickshire)
WK / bats:
Matt Prior (Sussex, wk)
Jonny Bairstow (Yorkshire)
All Rounders:
Tim Bresnan (Yorkshire)
Stuart Broad (Nottinghamshire)
Bowlers:
James Anderson (Lancashire)
Steven Finn (Middlesex)
Graham Onions (Durham)
Graeme Swann (Nottinghamshire)
Who will miss out at Lords?
IMO Bairstow will not displace either Prior or any of the 'incumbent' top-5. On form Strauss is most vulnerable, but he's already been named captain so that's not going to happen.
The other unlucky player seems to be between Finn and Onions, always assuming Broad is fully-recovered from his injury.
What do you think?

I don't think his batting is steady enough to call him an allrounder.
He can hold a bat & he has saved us in the past with his aggressive hitting but i would still call him a bowler who can bat than an all rounder

A defence? Did you ever see Sir Ian Botham prod a ball?

Swann is no Botham!! Come on, he's not an allrounder but an aggressive tail ender

I wouldnt call him a genuine tailender. Effectively he is a bowler who bats...

Swann is a classic stand and deliver batsmen with no footwork. If the delivery is in his area he'll give it a whack. When it comes off it's great.

Interesting point.
Swann's test batting average is 22.0 (bowling 28.0)
Broad's is 28.3 (31.2)
Bresnan's is 40.4 (24.1)
So on the classic definition, that an all rounder has a higher batting average than bowling average, no he's not.
On the same definition, neither is Broad though. I think I was just influenced by my personal view that there's still a lot of batting improvement to come from Broad, whereas Swann's the finished product.

its worth noting that Swann is not the type of player who will go out and score a 150 like Broad was done in the past, to rescue England.
Swann is more like the type of player that will score you a quick 20-30.
I'd liken Swann to a Brett Lee/Shane Warne whereas Broad is more in the Shaun Pollock mould

Why isn't Chanderpaul higher up in the batting...?
