Modric is still a great shout, not sure why but I have always felt he would thrive in our squad. Not only that but he would be worth buying just to rub a little more salt

In both Games v Barca and Bayern, things started to happen when Torres came on. We always look sharper. The opponents fear him too.
I also disagree his timing skills , but respect his honesty when approached by WB.
Trying to see it from his point of view, a match like this is what every footballer dreams about. He had expectations of contributing a much larger part to the proceedings. We had also in various articles here had expectations of him on saturday.
Roberto puts in a neophyte, Bertrand and also Maluda before him.
There are no rights and wrongs ,we won end of story. But I did not think he was whining, just sending a message ,but his choice of postman and timing not intelligent. I sympathise with his position it must have been deeply disappointing to feel like you are ready to make a massive contribution but are restrained from doing so.
Who is to say we could not have won it in normal time if he had come on earlier?
I do hope my fellow fans don't go to hard on him for basically being too straight forwards is displaying his feelings. Also lets not forget the spin the press likes to present is generally not the real version.

No one think we should be looking for an out and out right back? Brana has been class again, but against quicker, more skilful LW he can get caught out as it's not his position.

I can see Hazard coming, but he changes his mind every couple of days.
Don't expect Marin to come in and start every game, the reason he was so cheap was due to his recent injuries.

I can also see the Luiz & Cahill partnership be more frequently used.

Lukaku to be loaned out to a lower positioned Premier League team.

We need a new 2nd choice when Cech is injured or needs to rested and while Courtois is out on loan.
I don't mind Hilario being third choice
