Yes lo and behold hes been given a second chance and Agnew is moving upstairs according to the Daily Mirror.Kean is also being given money to buy players for the championship. The world is full of mysterious things and ways, it never ceases to amaze me what happens at Ewood.

I am no voice of reason. I was mearly stating a point..
You are right, yes. I highlighted a very poor pre-season and in general SA's time at the club. He had his 6 pointers too rememeber?
It's great looking back at boring football (if you could call it that) and think it was all rosie. It wasn't.
You are right though. Yes, we were close to the bottom and close to the top 6. However, we all know that under SA we were probbly not gonna finish top 6.
As for losing 3 on the bounce. I'm not talking about Kean. I/We don't have too. His record speaks for its self!!
As for your last comment. 'People like me' etc etc.. Just because my view doesn't toe in line with yours, Doesn't mean i am stupid, or blinkered..

"However, we all know that under SA we were probbly not gonna finish top 6."
Absolutely, he'd never done that before in his history.
And under new, untried manager, we were a shoe-in...

I didn't accuse you of stupidity, you were merely blinked by your dislike of a subjective issue, style. You've repeatedly attempted to pick arguments or stats to suit your 'cause', unfortunately they simply don't add up.
Don't think I'm arguing for arguments sake. If you debated along the lines of 'total football and finish 12th or terrible football and finish 8th' i might be inclined to agree.
I think fat Sam is a bit of an old school throwback, a bully boy, a Boris yob. However, the merits of his achievements at our club should not be underestimated and this is backed up with each passing idiotic drama since his sacking.
Excuse the pun, or Pune if you will, but our ship has now sunk and the Rovers we know is dead...

This season carries the first parachute payment 19mln i think,,so Venkies will still lie and pretend to be somewhat interested but we will sign no one in particular,Kean will still be the manager and i predict that the crowds will eventually find there true leve,,but maybe that is a wrong statement the true level of support will be shown when both Kean and Venkies have disappeared, the the fans who claim they are not going to ewood because of those people will or should return,no matter which division we may find ourselves in but once a new hobby or pastime is found many may never return,,we the fans are the football club but if the club relied on us fans,,maybe div 1 is about our level ,so lets get real here why should anyone without any true affilliation to the football club want to risk millions of there own money,,they just wouldnt and niether would any of us,i have often thought espec over the last season and listening to the crowds chants that many Rovers fans, yes many still live in a dream land i also realise say that in the last 20yrs not many Rovers fans below say 35 have ever seen us struggle in lower leagues maybe even older to have seen them in the old Div 3,therefore they appear to think that it is there right to have some person or persons through away millions of pounds on players that may not prove to be any good at all,,no there was only one Jack Walker and that is the truth as far as Rovers are concerned,,but that is the end of the line now the end of an era,,sadly the business as been sold to aliens who can see a quick buck,,but surely that is also understandable,Kean standing there and taking all sorts of abuse on say 30 grand per week surely that is also understandable,,i do not like any of this but i do understand what is happening to my football club and that is why i have renewed my season ticket,i will be there when they have all gone no matter were they may leave us..

Well said RB...
The discussion about giving them more money is 12 months too late. Many of the fans calling the likes of me a traitor for renewing my season tickets make me laugh. All of them have supported VenKean this season with their money for season tickets, match-day tickets, merchandising, concourse sales, programme and lottery sales etc.
Any fan bright enough to work out in Kean's first season it was all going belly up and subsequently not renewing tickets can call me what they like and I would listen to their view.
Those fans that at last have woken up and finally understand just how poor the owners and managers are and are now hugely indignant about fans renewing tickets, after supporting VenKean with their monies all season, haven't got a leg to stand on. Their bitching about me and the likes of others is laughable and says more about their lack of footballing knowledge than anything else.
I supported the club last season even though it was blatantly obvious we were struggling, had re-shaped the squad disastrously and were undercooked for the start of the season.
I will support the club this season even though it is blatantly obvious things will get worse before it gets better.
On a personal level I hated most of what I watched this season. I found it hugely tedious and it was perhaps the worst season I have ever had the misfortune to attend for a variety of reasons. However, I watch with my poorly mother and my son and they like attending games very much. They are far more important to me than Venkys, Kean, or the boring fans who have just woken up.
