Well he was in the last few squads plus would of been in squad only for his father. And to say he was only capped to stopping joining Scotland isn't true imo because if that's the case Wilson would of been capped with the North waiting and wanting to take him

Wilson has already made it clear he's no interest in playing for the north though.

No Imback but there was huge speculation about it and his club manager was fanning the flames at the time.

And McCarthy kept stating he wanted to play for Ireland and thats all the speculation you had to listen too
