Sturridge isn't good enough with his back to goal to start up top by himself. Don't think Welbeck is a good enough player to occupy 2 defenders at international level. Carroll in the air is. Hoof ball or not who cares if we win a few games?

If we get to the quarter's this would be classed as a very successful Euro campaign IMO

it's a tough group with our weakest attack and midfield in living memory

If we can keep clean sheets then anything is possible. Our defence and keeper are quite good so who knows.

Id rather have Gerrard, Hendo and Parker than the 3 missing players who have contributed f all to England

Are you talking about Henderson ? The player that even Liverpool fans are saying isn´t good enough to play for Liverpool let alone England.

As for Gerrard he has been there through all of England´s failures and when you consider Gerrard´s ability he has probably been one of England´s most disappointing and under-performing players I can remember seeing in my lifetime.

All of Englands midfielders over the years have been disappointing on balance.

Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes, Beckham. Disappointing and never replicated club level in internationals.

Hargreaves was quite good when fit and not played at right back but he was a DM.

Our defence does quite well. Mickey Owen was ace for a long while. Rooney largely disappointing.

So unless you're a defender or have 'Owen' at the start or end of your name then you've had an England career to forget.
