Why sell Nani?????

I have read many posts here on 606 and noticed quite alot of Man Utd fans feel we should sell Nani.

I cant understand why should utd sell Nani and who do we exactly replace him with? Valencia?

Ok Valencia plays on the right and Young on the left? IMHO, Young is a very average players and is not as technically gifted as Nani.

I agree Nani can be inconsistent but when on form, he can be devastating.

Depends on your definition of world class. Does he have world class ability? Absolutely. Is he world class? No, not for me. He doesn't perform at a high enough level often enough to be considered as much in my opinion. But his frequent awful performances will, of course, continue to be ignored.

His frequent very good performances are ignored.

I'm with Steve, has the ability to match almost any other player out there just doesn't do it nearly often enough.

You could say Berba is world class using that logic.

They aren't Always. It's why i can say he's got world class ability. As I've seen him display it. The fact that you have people claiming that he is good even on am off day sums up the pedestal he is set upon though.

He's had plenty of bad days, for most of his United career i've seen more negative comments about Nani than positive ones. I don't know where you get the idea that the fans have put him on a pedestal.

Nani isn't that great a winger in a traditional sense (on his day he can be but it's not his main strength) but as a footballer I think he's great, the more movement and link up play in the team the better Nani will play.

Just now Nani misses a sitter but sets up a goal

Unless he goes to Barca or Madrid he is unlikely to play with players of a better calibre to be fair.

Believe me, there have been a lot of articles about Nani, virtually all claiming he would be irreplaceable and with fans swooning over his great moments. But in those articles, when i have criticised the fact that his good games tend to be outnumbered by his bad games (they do), i am on my own.

Excellent post cameras. Not only did you make a worthwhile and meaningful contribution. You also added a nice smiley to boot. Well done.

Bare one thing in mind though, two in fact. One, Sir Alex has never been shy to drop Nani for a big game. 2. Nani reportedly wants an offer of more than 130k a week. Granted it's only reports but he is talking of moving abroad. Will Sir Alex sanction a bigger offer! I doubt it and i don't see it happening. Time for Nani and his fan boys to come back down to earth
