Did anyone else see Pirlo's reaction directly after he scored his chipped penalty? You could see what he was thinking: 'Ahhhhh Yeeeaah'
And I seem to remember a certain Adrian Durham describing a similar penalty from RvP as 'disrespectful'
Personally a good chip is my favourite type of goal, and a chipped penalty takes real balls. I did say to my Dad (who doesn't really know much about European football) that Pirlo was ice-cool and guaranteed to score.

Don't think pirlo gave away the ball once, all of his passes were sublime. England didn't help themselves by allowing him all the time and space in the world though.

The end justified the means. Of course if he missed and Young's pen went in off the bar, how would he have looked. We are only talking tiny margins.

Wolves may have been down to 10 men but they held us to a draw at the Emirates with 10 men, and if RvP felt it was the best way to deceive the keeper (normally he just smacks it in the corner) then it's not disrespectful.

Wolves were down to 10 men,neither side really had anything to play for. You'd have still had 85 odd minutes to score which you would have done against that Wolves defence
