With all these supposed signings going to clubs without a manager... it's a joke! At Chelsea before they appointed RDM permanently they were making multimillion pound signings!
How can a manager make his team work if he is given players that potentially aren't what he wants!
Football is different guys, it's so different :'(. I just hope Liverpool keep true to their word that the buck stops with Brendan!
What is going on?

I agree with this and also that London would be a far better attraction to a foriegn player.

It's a somewhat fair comment Elvis
If you leave out the bit about their best player (Modric) leaving, their second best player (Bale) saying he's in the shop window, and their manager left.

Is it just me or has anyone else noted the complete indifference in the appointment of a new spurs manager completely opposite to the abuse and criticism liverpool received for taking their time with the appointment of a new manager.

1. Won't the lad be hoping to fill Modric's place.
2. I thought I read that Bale was staying for another year at least?
3. Maybe he knows who the manager is going to be, or at least the names on the shortlist?

no, they have differenent roles and are quite different as players
dunno about Bale - thought he said he wanted to go and wanted CL
maybe that's changed.
He's a VdV type

Hang on a minute here - Spurs finished 4th last season and look better placed to finish above Liverpool again next season. Why does it have to be that he has gone for money simply because he has/may have decided that Spurs are the better option? Maybe he believes that they offer the best chance of CL football?
-------------------------------------------------------------------
But neither has it at the moment. And why would he put his trust in a managerless team that could go either way over one with a manager he obviously believes in (swansea fell through as he left)?? Saying tottenham have good chance of getting champs league is ridiculous at the moment. Spurs fans love saying harry took you from relegation to champs league, why cant another manager do the opposite??

I think us fans worry too much about teams having no manager.
Players care about three things: money, where they will live and club prospects. In no particular order.
I don't believe they care too much about who the manager is.
