United Kingdom Football Association

Cause For team GB

With finance and commercial value of Scottish football at a critical state together with no real infrastructure to grass roots development, no reserve leagues and our national team failing at every hurdle to qualify against opposition that we really should be challenging against I say it's time for change.

England's slow progress under Roy Hodgson with no real proof of technical ability in the squad, 3 billion tv contracts that will no doubt see more foreigners at these shores, how will ever the Scottish and Welsh leagues grow and and be able to stop our young talent going south?. When will England ever have that outfield player or goalkeeper to boast about when the top teams in the epl are dominated by foreign talent.

The population of the UK is about 62million people
I think now is the time to seriously consider and explore the benefits of one FA and revolutionise the game in the UK.

Which would mean clubs active in communities, The very best of talent going to a top academy in the UK somewhere educated and developing football skills being provided work experience at football clubs around the Uk.

A fair and better distribution of income from TV money across the Uk

An also the added benefit of these muppets at the sfa out of a job replaced by the standard of men and women down at the English FA

If only England had a Giggs a Bale a McGregor a Fletcher a young Barry Ferguson, Colin Hendry, A Kenny Miller some may laugh be he would do a great job.

There is cause for debate, and honestly after the year i've had as a Rangers supporter and Seeing no Scotland at this years Euro s, you've got to wonder???

We need people to take control of our game here or else it will truly vanish forever.

I'm all for it and if we don't make radical changes now for a push towards a unity with England we may be always looking at the greener side of the grass.

@ Duke

I think it's the way forward, Look at country's with higher populations even poverty and they succeed at a higher level than us, radical change is needed and it's about time we change our mind set to, some people are living in the dark ages in this country in a sporting sense yeah scots and english like to see each other lose but i think we have to change all that for the greater good.

football is a cheap game to play

Poverty seems to be no barrier

When we were strong ie the 60s we were regularly in the final stages in Europe
pretty much home grown as well.

At the end of the day its sadly about money the EPL have this and we dont.

I think having one FA would make it a powerful and interesting set-up.

The potential is immense, if you really think about it

we do that though.

Talking with a mate who is just back from Italy and an U13 tourny

Rangers did pretty well and in my mates opinion were as technical as the Italians
We also had the player of the tournament

Though only 13 he had refused the TPU
