Assuming

This takeover goes through, which poster do you think will announce it first on here? My bet Lancashire White.

Yeah but what should be done with Bates?

I have mentioned before the failed Fernandez bid a few years ago. Bates asked for proof of funds and then once he got them he doubled the asking price to £60m!

That's the sort of bloke these people are dealing with. Slippery is too good a word for Bates really.

Hopefully the buyers can see what a great investment Leeds United are and will not be put off by any Bates 'games'. He is going - it's just how soon

Theres an article in the YEP ref the move of Clayton to udders for £500,000 this little snippet is also included in there......
"With due diligence over a proposed takeover by the group recently granted a period of exclusivity by the Elland Road hierarchy expected to continue for at least the rest of this week, Leeds are keen to press ahead with their own transfer business."
I wish they'd pull their bloody collective fingers out .

Hold on to the sides - it's gonna be a rocky ride

These things take time and if Bates is adamant he wants to stay as chairman and the bidders refusing then it might take a little longer yet.

Do you want t rush job and him still at the club or a longer job and him gone?

Warnock is pressing on with things so that must tell us something... he's happy that the outcome will eventually be in his favour

I'm on this "Whites" knuckle ride and only the best outcome will do.......so i'm hanging on Stoopo for as long as it takes

but i wish they'd hurry up
