Catching up with the women semi, I am laughing my head off at the kind of tennis played nowadays by those "ladies". There is more testosterone in those players, in particular Serena, than you woudl find in a rugby scrum!
It's just sheer power and each shot is hit with the hope of killing the rally, which is the kind of tennis I'd like and expect to see in the men's game, but it looks like it reversed roles for now.
The funny part will come when Serena will be interviewed after the match and she will make her best effort to sound like the little soft, sensitive and shy girl full of innocent charms.
But the wolf in the wood won't be fooled. He will show her the shortest path to her grandma if asked!

Azarenka is cute. Despite her wails. Which to be fair, I prefer to grunts.
The players with all the variety in the womens game get clouted out the way by the one dimensional big hitters- its a shame.
But thats not too different than the mens game. Murray is by far the most crafty at the top of the mens game, but players like Nadal are the ones with the majors, and his game is as one dimensional as it comes.

Here's a question for all you men here:
do you watch women's tennis because of women's looks or their actual game?
I know it can be mixed up, a bit of everything, but I've always had a suspicion that men don't care about women's tennis at all.
As for me, I could happily exist without it. I only watch it as a habit now and then, when there's no men's tennis on.
And once I get drawn into a match (which is not that difficult ) I am even able to shut out the noise...
I suppose I'd never pay to go and watch a woman's match.

you're honestly saying nole has more variety and more intelligence on court than murray in regards to shot making...cos if so thats pathetic. He wins through sheer will and power play mostly. Ditto nadal.

women who focus less on power play i prefer. which is why murray and federer are much more my sort than boring players like novak and rafa.

Haha great article Tenez loved to read it.In my opinion Serena Williams is the greatest woman tennis player of all time and her biceps are bigger and more strong than many men playing at Wimbledon and professional men tennis players.

Ii agree with npe opinion about Murray and Djokovic but even though I dislike Djokovic and I don't like Murray I still prefer to see Djokovic and Nadal play but I am a Nadal fan.
Game of Murray has more variety than Djokovic but I am always enjoying seeing Nadal putting topspin on almost every shot he hits which is class!
