1st off i'd like to say that im happy its nice to be linked to a highly rated player so strenuously, and, if the rumours are to b true and he signs it would feel like a bit of a coup. However......
I have seen plenty if our fans declare that this guy is the "final piece of the jigsaw", the guy that will fire us back into the top 4, etc. I think we need to calm down a bit.
1st, he hasnt signed. 2nd, the lad is a 21 year old uruguayan who probs doesnt speak a word of english, its gona take him time to settle. I think we just need to calm down s bit on this one. "IF" he signs it will be a signing of potential. Nothing more.
There are too many on here proclaiming he is the best thing since sliced bread.... As a huge football fan, i can honestly say i have never watched a bologna game in my life. Id go 1 better and say i wouldnt recognisr ramirez if he walked past me in the street. Lets get real and admit we know nothing of him and that "IF" he signs we'll just be excited to see how he develops.
Gaston ramirez

I haven't come across anyone saying that he is all we needed.
It's right to be optimistic about a young talent, and mind it, he is one of the best talents available, but he is no way the final piece to our Jigsaw.
If we are able to sign Messi and Ronaldo, that will be the final piece, for sure!
Good Morning good people!

Not see anyone say that. Brendan has only just got the pieces out of the box and found some of them are missing.

He'll add some much needed flair to that right-hand side. Thats about it...thats how much i know about him.
12mil seems alot but i thought 24mil was abit too much for Suarez

You never really have the final piece, its about using thd talents you have wisely. For example, spain hd d villa injured and decided to play without a striker and utilise the midfield players they had.
Maybe br can utilise JCole, AAqua and Sterling, susu more effectively than kd and all of a sudden we appear to have "a few missing pieces" ourselves.

The post and the Echo are reporting that whilst the club have scouted Ramirez over the last 18 months, we aren't and won't be looking to sign him.

I'm getting a bit concerned about the lack of movement to be honest. I know that the window has only been open 9 days but with other clubs already having signed a couple of really good players. It's worrying that we seem to be just trundling along with little or no signs of squad improvement!

Suso must play some part he's been very classy for the Snish U-19's

I would certainly be more inclined to believe what is printed in The Echo, but the media being in the dark about potential signings is the way most Liverpool fans want it, isn't it?

Absolutely.
I'm not in the least bit bothered about the perceived lack of movement.
I'll be quite happy to just turn the tv on one day and see a player that no-one has mentioned in the press holding up the new LFC shirt...........

I wouldn't believe anything in the Echo either. Just as bad as the rest of them.(when it comes to football rumours)

Mind you, the echo also claimed that Rodgers was not on the radar
one week later, we were being rejected
two weeks later, he was appointed
Only the Echo
