Ramsey to decide on Shawcross' Wales chance

Just read that Wales manager Chris Coleman would have to seek Ramsey's "permission" before inviting that Ryan 'I-look-like-a-simpleton'Shawcross to the Wales nation team

Just wondering what my fellow gunners feel about this development

Aaron hasn't ever forgiven Shawcross.

Then he's in the wrong sport FFS.

I hope nothing like that happens to you. Not everyone is as magnanimous as you.

What a joke. If I was Shawcross I would tell him where to stick it. 50/50 tackle (not even a bad one) and Ramsey's a about it. It happens in football.

If he can't accept that and forgive him then he's just a bitter idiot.

Yeah I know. Jeez. Imagine not liking someone because they smashed your leg into 7 pieces and potentially ruined your career, eh? Pathetic.

It was a bad tackle. He dived in over the top of the ball, wanting to intimidate Ramsey and got it badly wrong. Yes, it was an accident, but if something like that happened to you I doubt you'd forgive them.

I also think saying that Ramsey is a or bitter idiot about it is ridiculous. He has never publicly criticised Shawcross - the only thing he has done is refused to accept an apology from Shawcross, something he is entirely entitled to do.

Coleman has put Ramsey under the spotlight in a bad way, so that idiots like you who think "Shawcross should tell him where to stick it" believe it's Ramsey's decision to question Shawcross' inclusion.

Yes, he's entitled to do it. Ramsey flicks the ball away from under Shawcross' feet and every Arsenal fan think he's the devil.

Maybe I worded what I said wrong. I mean, it's not as if he means to hurt him, it was just a poorly timed tackle and unless someone goes into hurt them, they should be forgiven. He was clearly upset that he had broken the guys leg and offers an apology as soon as he possibly could. Yet Ramsey declines it which leads me to think he's bitter.

I think it's clear Shawcross went in hard, unnecessarily so, in order to try and make his mark on Ramsey and prevent him from getting into the game - commonplace in football but quite nasty. I do not think he meant to break his leg, though.

Ramsey was simply too quick, but the end result is a terrible injury which has almost certainly damaged his career. The chances are that it'll mean he'll end up earning significantly less throughout his career, and be an inferior player to what he could previously have become.

An analogy would be if there was someone you didn't like in your office. There is plenty of banter around, and the bloke you don't like clips your heels once. You fall awkwardly and break both arms. There are complications, and you can't work for a year, although you still get paid as the company are generous. When you come back, however, you cannot type anywhere near as fast, and you know you'll never get earn as much from promotions as you may have previously. Would you say it's bitter if that person is then told to work with you and you don't really want them to?

I'm sure you can say that you'd be fine about it, but you simply wouldn't.

Get over yourself FFS.

It was a bad tackle, end of.

You really think he intended any of that when he attempted the tackle? It was a tackle he was entitled to as the ball was there for him to win, but for Ramseys quick feet.

What a stupid comment. Of course I don't think he meant it, I merely think calling someone a "stupid pu$sy" because their leg was broken in 6 places is utterly idiotic.

I called him that because of his attitude after, and that of Arsenal fans playing the victim card.

You'd think he was the only footballer to have suffered a broken leg.
