With the news that he should soon be signing, I wish to pose the question: how good is he?
I have posted this on the chelsea board as he plead for them before, and would love an insight into what he is like.
His record for Roma is admirable for a 21 year old, and I'm looking forward to seeing him in a red shirt!!
ps. what shirt number do you think he will wear?
Fabio Borini

Borini is a good player a bit lightweight but hes a fighter. Scored loads at youth level but so did di santo.
Hes a goal poacher kinda striker

Everything I've seen of the lad (very little tbh) suggests he will run like he is possessed by the spirit of Kuyt and stick the ball in the net multiple times.
A few more attacking and creative signings wouldn't go amiss.

He´s a very good player in my opinion. I used to watch him closely in the reserves a couple of years ago and both Borini and Sturridge were the stand out players.
I´m sure he will be a success at Liverpool based on what I´ve seen of him. I´m not saying that he´s going to become your best player but he will at least be a good squad player.
Big shame as I think we could and should have brought him through the ranks at Chelsea.
Liverpool´s gain though.

He came on as a sub and did nothing but miss an open goal in injury time with the score 2-1 to us
