So I have just been employed as a researcher for a private equity firm and have access to the names of directors at all registered companies.
Out of curiosity I searched Leeds United. As we know we have a holding company named Leeds City Holdings Ltd, included in that corporate family is: Leeds United Football Club, Leeds United Centenary Pavilion Ltd and Yorkshire Radio Ltd among others.
What is interesting is that the search also throws up a company named Leeds United Stadium Ltd the parent company of this company is Leeds United Association Football Club Ltd (The).
The following is the list of directors for this company: Shaun Antony Harvey, Yvonne Stella Todd, Richard Mark Taylor, Kenneth William Bates, Jayne Mcguinness. I have no idea who most of these people are but recognise two of the names! Clearly we do not own the ground but KB does and we pay him and or these people rent as suspected.
The question is will he hold onto this company if/when he leaves for a fixed term at an agreed rate? (Obviously I am making the assumption that this company owns Elland Road)
Perhaps this is the potential stumbling block in the takeover process, I know these things can take time but I am desperate for news and cannot wait until its sorted as I believe it will be soon.
KB Ownership of ground

Ken Bates' 'value' has massively decreased in recent years, so if he's conning us then it's pocket change.

I have to echo Youngwhite's sentiment on this....

Agree with Jonty and Youngwhite. This is not anything that proves anything other than more research will show ER and TA are owned offshore so you'll not find directors/owners names.
We can agree the buy-back for ER is a fixed price with a % increase each year.

"KPMG, AFC's administrators, think an application to court was made;"
I've a little question, "is think know?".
Surly their job would be to make sure and check the finest details of "everything" that was going on at and around Leeds United football club at that time!..
And another that was never explained by them or Leeds United football club was "17million" that sort of went on a walk about never to be seen again, or has that suddenly turned up and the new bods are trying to work out what it is, where it came from, and what they can do about it!..
As for Elland Road, get the club lock, stock and barrel, or maybe time is right to think about a new stadium, and let Bates and co do what they want with their shopping center and hotel!..

"have access to the names of directors at all registered companies" anyone can do that for free on the interweb. You can even get accounts etc. The info you found was incomplete, as the Stadium company, as someone has already stated is no longer solvent / trading.
Must try harder......

New ground is what we need g 100% spot on.

Your research is WAY out of date. Those were the details from years ago.
And that you don't recognise the names of one-time directors of the various club-related companies suggest you haven't been around here for very long.
No criticism there but they are all names that have long since disappeared from debate when LUFC ownership is dealt with.
I suggest you go back and check ALL the details [inc dates] for public domain documents - though you usually have to pay a fee or have a subscription to reveal detail and copy documentation.

Nice try on and on and on, but no cigar.
Anyone can form a company and pretty much name it anything for any purpose. Without any evidence of this company owning the ground or having any interest in Teak Trading or other investments, one would just be speculating.
As for moving onto another ground, we need to bear in mind that there are still many years left on the lease for Elland Road and thus the club is obligated to pay rent for that lengthy period. Not that easy or inexpensive to move/develop another stadium.

Go Bates go, not strictly true - "have access to the names of directors at all registered companies" anyone can do that for free on the interweb. You can even get accounts etc..
But yea having looked at it further like I said in second comment I can see that now
