Graham Roberts

Very interesting inside source from Roberts claiming Rafa wants to stay and Modric is 'an absolute certainty' to leave.

There is also a video of the interview where he talks about Spurs making a move for Butland.

Thanks JPB

You play your best team and if caulker steps up then for me i would play Vertonghen at left back

People forget how many goals Benny cost us last season

Good player but Vert would be better i think

Lads, until mid-Feb we were still in with a definite shout of a title challenge...your memories are terrible

---

Not really. If I remember rightly the games that killed us off were the back to back games with wolves and city which we took one point from

I was at both games and am pretty sure that they were in january.

I am struggling to think of many tbh. Maybe walnuts goal versus the gooons but the whole team were a disgrace that day.

I can think of more goals that friedel or king cost us tbh

ledely cost us almost every goal in the last couple of months to be fair

benny werent much though either.

on the pre/post chrismtas split id go :

Friedel : excellent, good
Benny : very good, pretty rubbish
Kaboul : very good, very good
King : very good, woeful
Walker : excellent, very good
Bale : good, weird
Modric : really good, ok
Parker : excellent, mostly pretty rubbish
Lennon : ok, ok
VDV : pretty good, average
Ade: mixed, poor

Weare I am Not sure you can blame a goal on a defender for wacking it clear when he should have done something else

It's like blaming a goal on a striker missing a chance and then they attack and score

Ball in other half so the whole team has to take responsibility to defende properly

Man city third goal was solely down to sir Ledley being out of position and making a clumsy challenge

posted on 14/7/12

that game was the first of ledley's shockers.

benny's game went though once bale started cutting inside etc. his passing was off, his positioning was off, his decision making was off. he just looked like a totally different player.

ledley was worse, and i would say was directly responinsble for conceding most of the goals starting with the man united game, but it was just because he could hardly move.

Man utd away

0-0 beeny just kicked the ball out of defence under no pressure straight to a utd player who passed it out to the wing, cross came in and 1-0

City away
45 seconds of injury time left

ball running out of play for our throw and game over again under no pressure benny decided not only to keep the ball in he then just hoofed it up field to noone they hoofed it back inot our box and got a penalty . yes ledley should not of made the tackle but should never of been put in that position
