Capello is a joker
Well played.
Although I do end up feeling sorry for him over the whole JT thing.
Maybe I'm bias as a Chelsea fan but if it did say in his contract that he had control... then he should've had control.
Any thoughts?
Or is the International board dead?
Capello, the Ultimate WUM

I think he's talking out his backside.
If Capello took us to the Euros...
- Welbeck, Walcott and Oxlaide-Chamberlain would never have gone and instead we would've taken a squad riddled with injuries.
- We wouldn't have made it out of the group and if we did, we wouldn't have held Spain or Italy to penalties.
- We wouldn't have seen the spirit and determination that we saw under Hodgson.

I certainly agree with your point Re: The Ox and Welbeck but Walcott would've gone.
Although arguably, given Englands injuries at the time, would a better squad have been available?
Remember there was no Barry, Defoe, Lampard, Cahill +...
The only real "omission" was Rio from Roy's squad
