doesn't mean he will accept it but i can't see us getting him, van perise or anybody else, i guess i'm used to not expecting any big signings.
although kagawa was a very good signing.
Sao Paulo line up new Moura deal

Exactly Brad, it's tough having to manage the egos and talent easily, that's why you need to find the right balance.
Some people just want signings to make them feel good about the club (not calling any names) without thinking how it will work in practice

Brad I don't think your support is appreciated much over here.
Tell you what, if you ever get fed up of supporting a team who sign only wingers and instead want a team who have a filthy array of central midfield options then come over to our board. We even sign players we don't even need

spot on there, we need to find the right balence as a squad, if you buy big money players and chuck them together it doesn't guarentee a title winning team.

Mr Chelsea
only problem is, i wouldn't be able to keep up with who's your manager

imo, kagawa will be the best bit of business we've done in a few years, a steal at the price we paid

The last quote from Sao Paulo's director of football, Adalberto Baptista is interesting:
"Lucas is now focused and it's in our interest he shows his best football, even though he is not being given as much playing time as he should at the national team, but that's just my personal opinion,"
Why would you want him in the shop window if you were trying to keep him? I think they are trying to drive up the price and get other clubs interested

This isn't a dig, but there's so much negativity on the board these days.
_____________
Couldnt agree more, but it's been since day one here rather than just recently. Unfortunately comments like I'm used to United never making any big signings just shows the person is a kid who's only followed United for a relatively brief time.
BTW Didn't we buy the second most expensive goalkeeper of all time last summer window, and he was only 20.
Fans of other teams, especially the older ones, must laugh when they see comments like from United fans suggesting we dont ever spend big money or make big signings.

If you are looking for expensive signings Chelsea and City are desperate for support.

Idiot. We certainly are not desperate for support.

This is Good/Bad news for United, If Lucas rejects the deal then Sao Paulo have just cornored themselves, on the other hand if Lucas signs the deal then they have the option to wait for 3 more seasons meaning they can show case him at the World cup and thus drive his prize up if he leaves upto his potential. Either way united are about to get a final answer

Unfortunately until some of the bed wetters see us spending stupid money on players, they will not be satisfied.
Look at the players below;
Valencia
Vidic
Nani
Evra
Hernandez
The most expesnive signing was Nani at £17m. Look at the contributions they've made to Utd.
It's not all about the big spending. The only player on that list that will be valued less than 20m is Evra.
We make stars at Utd, we do not buy them.

Sorry but that's absolute BOLL(O)CKS.
Are you suggesting Man United don't spend heavily?
Ferdinand 30M, Berbatov 30M, Rooney 25M, Valencia 18M, Young 17M, Jones 16M etc.
Also, ridiculous that you think Hernandez is worth over 20 million
