Was waiting for this day.

indian test team is selected. I have to say Indian selectors dont want to learn. In short we are preparing our own grave, and we will soon need it when England tour India. Not a single player who performed horrible in the last 3 series have been dropped. and when we lose a test series in the coming months, we will be crying on why we cant compete in tests, and have our media take interviews of rajiv shukla, and Srinivasan to explain the debacle.

This team that just got selected cannot beat any top teams, whether it is in india or outside, simply because our bowlers will struggle to pick 10 wickets forget 20.
Ishant sharma? Piyush chawla? zaheer khans fitness? Umesh yadavs inconsistency line and length? This is the bowling line up that we are preparing for england when they tour in october. It is dissapointing that none of our star studded batsmen have got an axe. Yh everyone will bully the newzealend bowlers and average 150 by the end of this series, but in the longer run, (against a quality bowling attack of England) we will suffer.

I dont see India beat England with this bowling attack. It would rather give england batsman the mental edge and bully these bowlers from the start of the game. We need that x-factor which scares batsman. someone like ajmal, who the england team got scared and lost their wickets like a pack of cards.

Exactly, the opinion I hold, Maski... In my opinion the guy has been disrespectful to this country. Like you said England gave him a good career when RSA did not want him.

And, this is his repayment... what a waste. He can take his ego back to RSA and try and work it there.

^^ Totally agree mate. His time is done. He is a trouble maker and we don't need the likes of him anymore. He is just getting worse and worse.

KP - so'd off back to your IPL pyjama cricket and disappear off my tv screen, thank you

Yeh, who needs a guy who has been your best batsman for the last 7 years and just the other day pretty much on his own saved the match and England's No.1 rating against SA? Who needs a guy who averages a tick under 50?

You'll you won't miss his attitude? You might miss his batting however.

Dunc do you remember Cook averaging about 300 against your boys? He is our best batsmen by a country mile and with strauss, bell, trott and one other we will be fine

300? That's a very high series average.

Neon has managed to derail us off the thread again. This is supposed to be about India?

Neon neon neon, I bet you thought Liverpool were going to lose their champions league final against AC Milan ( the first one) and look what happened.

We are not getting spanked by South Africa and the series is still going on.

At one point it looked like we might hold on and draw the first test and at one point it looked like we might grab a win in the second.

Spanked? I don't think so.

Back to chatting about India? or is that too painful?

What division is a New Zealand v India test match these days?

A
