Yesterday was a good day for us………..

I think we are ought to thank both Madrid and Man U for delivering set of good news for us.

Arsenal vrs Man U - we all know that mancs already have plenty of strikers- Mexican bandit, Wellbeck, Rooney and Berba do not run tov not to mention goals from the guy with the same name as my grandma – Nani, Valencia, Giggs and Scholes, Goal scoring is not mancs big problem however certainly their midfield needs additions , yet red nose has seen it fit to spend money on two more strikers . I don`t see how they can play more than 3 strikers at any one time any way so before long, there will be one more of their strikers joining Berbaflop on unhappy boat. With or without adding RVP mancs would almost certainly be in the mix for the top 2 and certainly at the very worst top 3 in the prem and adding RVP does not change that. Red nose thinks it will give them an edge over citieh….so let it be. There is another great benefit of rvp leaving his beloved goners ( as I remember he has declared his feelings just last feb…) - whichever way Mr. Winger tries to spin this - it does major damage to the Woolwich team and we are the direct beneficiary. This is their captain they are losing…a player who virtually single handedly carried them to the 3rd position last season. His goal haul alone kept them afloat during the injury crises they faced last season, such players are hard to replace. Finally this kind of exit has a dangerous way of eliciting copy cat moves…Fabregas left last year and Clichy + Nasri followed suit.. arsenal still have Theo Walcott in that vulnerable position of also having a year left on his contract without a new deal in place The vultures are already gathering around the next target..and then there is that most self-righteous of all footballing Vultures; the Catalans of Barcelona who have already began their typical charm onslaught on Alex Song even though he still has 2-3 yrs left on his contract…..

Haringey ,there’s no Xmas at the lane – Madrid castillianos

With number of sources claiming different transfer fees ze kartofes are trying to rewrite the history yet again – and the Guardian take on the situation is quite reflective of what has happened up to date.

The Madrid president, Florentino Pérez, has been confident throughout the summer that he would get his man and the indications from Spain on Wednesday were that the initial fee could be as low as £26m, albeit before add-ons. Tottenham can be expected to claim that the sum is greater

Well – yet , they all fail to admit – the principals of holding on to I don’t like chicken badge Modric last summer was about 40 mln Champions League money and establishing themselves as a regular Champions League participant– which we have snatched away from them in Munich…..whatever spin levy will try to put on – they are getting less cash then we offered last year and continuing with Spursdays competition – which potential winner will not be known to us until elimination from CL later on this year. I personally would like them to continue Modric saga as long as they can to unsettle the team and let the ginger man show his ever present people’s skills as well as make as much noise as they can about the money allegedly paid to them – as I am just going to sit back and watch inflation rates being added to the players…..

Well , as I said – it has been a good Wednesday for us….

Are you telling me that XI doesnt look strong? CM is the relative weakness yes, but it's hardly alot weaker than Ramires/Lamaprd/Merieles/Mikel now it is

Get over it, it's not that difficult.

Looks alright smalling, Andersons, Rafael and Evra are all poor though. If i was Man U i'd go for this ( Still think you need a left back and right back though )

De Gea
Rafael Vidic Ferdinand Evra
------------------Carrick
Nani----------------------------------Valencia
------------------Kagawa

Rooney-------------------------Van Persie

Or Valencia at RB and then Young for Valencia

If everyone was fit, that's what my strongest team would be.

Heard Valencia might be converted to RB, any truth in that?

Seen Valencia play at right back before his good there, better than Rafael.

Man U should buy Baines and a new CB someone like Hummels or Colocconi and there defence would be quality if vidic comes back as he was pre-injury.

De Gea
Valencia-Vidic-Colocconi/Hummels-Baines
------------------Carrick
Nani-----------------------------Valencia
------------------Kagawa
Rooney--------------------------- RVP

Would be a quality team

Definitely need someone to challenge Evra.

It looks strong going forward , but defensively – no , not really. You are and will be scoring goals – that was never a question, regardless of rvp or not. It is not a question about you being in top 2/3 – it is a question about strengthening the team.

As you have pointed out ,CM is your weakness , and not relative – it is a weakness, as two colossus of defensive duties like Carrick and Anderson do not offer much of a protection to your defence( well, in short times they are actually available to play). Your defence is a relative weakness – as we will need time to see and assess Vidic after 1 year out of the game, same goes for your wingbacks and Peckham boy – but then that will not be that much of an issue as you will outscore most of teams.

What clearly got on red nose nerves last year - was being outmuscled by city midfield – and not you forwards.

As for Ramires and Lamps - any given time – over your dynamic duo! Which is quite irrelevant – as it looks like Oscar will be there…

BTW Oscar > bafta – just to clarify.
