supporting this club, not because of the team but because of some of the fans. We lost today, it went badly but it's one game and already you are already complaining.
I give it a week before people start calling for Rodgers head. We don't have a god given right to be in the top four, we are still paying the price for failing to make the champions league. That is in no way Rodgers fault.
Rant over.
I give up

I don't see how people can say the Agger penalty / red card decision was dubious. Agger pushed him, he was through on goal.
The Skrtle one got me really annoyed, he never even knew the WBA guy was there, so how could he foul him?

I think that today just shocked the team, we were playing well and then a Gera wonder goal knocked us down and then we started the second half well and then it just all fell apart with a serious of events that will forever anger me.

It was a soft touch, and just outside the area. Its a harsh penalty. The referee was way behind the play.
The second penalty was ridiculous.

Jan, I agree it was a soft touch, but Agger was extremely stupid to do even that. I would have preferred he let the guy take his chances against Reina. (No, I don't expect Agger to just let him go, but to push him then was stupid beyond words)

Agger, even though we were better in possession in the first half, I didn't see too many shots on goal, there was no end product, and that did surprise me. JimmytheRed

The penalties were both blatantly correct

JTR
We only had one attempt less than WBA at goal they were far more clinical and defended better. In fact we had 57% of possession we just lost our way in the second half.

Yes, thank you Ovid, I see you are trying your level best to wum, and unfortunately, you sad little person with an evidently severe personality disorder, no one is biting, and, I suspect, no one will. Now off you go, and when you see nurse, ask her for a bigger whack: the current dosage isn't working. JimmyTheRed

FatJan....., the UK Olympic team showed how passion, determination and skill produced world class results. And these were people earning less in a year than any one of our First XI do in a week.
Our First XI should take care to remember that.

LFC, you are right, there was little, if any, passion shown. In brief, we were beaten by a better team. JimmyTheRed
