First off,
Great result on Saturday. And although branded a 'shock result' by just about everyone outside The Hawthorns....not a 'shock' to us fans. We don't get the credit that our fantastic squad deserves.
The way i see it.... Name a team outside the big 5/6 that have better strike force options than we do? Odemwingie, Long, Lukaku, Fortune and Rosenberg who's still getting his fitness. It's like that all over our squad though but we still don't get the respect we deserve.
Favourites for relegation by media/pundits (with no real reason given) before the season had even started and even Saturday's game was...'how bad Liverpool are' rather than 'how well WBA played'
Anyway, rant over. Used to it being a Baggie.
We know how good we are and we'll keep shoving pundits words back down their throats and sticking our middle finger up to oppostion fans and the media who show a lack of respect.
Anyway........
Expecting a much tougher game at Spurs on Sat.
Deffinately take a draw but again its not impossible for us to get the points here as Spurs are in some what of a transitional period.
TEAM :
I'd go same as for me.
GK - Ben Foster
RB - Steven Reid
CB - Gareth McAuley
CB - Jonas Olsson (C)
LB - Liam Ridgewell
DM - Claudio Yacob
DM - Yousuff Mulumbu
RW - Peter Odemwingie
AM - James Morrison
LW - Zoltan Gera
S - Shane Long
Subs ; Myhill, Jara, Dawson, Brunt/Dorrans, El Ghanassy/Thomas, Lukaku, Fortune
Rosenberg still lacking fitness.
Should be a good game.
I'll go..... optimistic 1-1 Odewingie equalising late on
Come on you Baggies.

When we were playing our most defensive football and with Odem and Long both picking up a series of niggling injuries which saw them miss a fair few games including a heart scare for Long.
Long
32 appearances 8 goals
Odem
28 games 10 goals
Holt
35 games 15 goals
Morrison
33 games 9 goals
So in total Long and Odem got 18 goals in 60 games with being mainly one or the other starting most games last year in a defensive side whilst Morisson & Holt got 24 goals in 68 games when both were usually starting in a more attacking side.
So still yes I would much rather have our strikers then theirs, also Liverpool finished outside the top 6 so you obviously compare theirs to ours numbskull and yes I would still rather have our striker force then theirs considering ours actually took their chances on Saturday rather then wasting chance after chance after chance.
Enjoy the chumpionship once again, still bitter I see maybe you can get the little poison dwarf back yet again for your annual play off misery.

Oh deary you think you're upsetting me? If you want to act like an idiot then I will treat you like one now run along back to your Championship board and reminisce about how you beat us and were going to finish above us all those years ago

As a spurs fan I actually think that currently your striker options are better than ours, as Defoe can't really play the loan striker role we need him to leaving only Adebayour - who I would rate as the best striker at either club currently. If we get Damiao then it will swing in our favour again.
Also I would love Shane Long at Spurs, quality striker that doesn't get the respect he deserves, he absolutely runs defences into the ground.

spurs goal threat comes from midfield as much as from the strikers and that is what makes them one of the most exciting teams to watch, as a neutral.
thou you would expect them to sign another striker, i didnt know they were in for Damiao, he is very good
