If it's to be believed (Twitter ), then we've rejected it. Obviously. We've no need to sell a potential star player, who we paid virtually the same price for and who now has PL experience.

Manchester City looked shaky at the back, so they need a CB.. They've inquired about Daniel Agger, but he seems to be staying put at Anfield.

We may have looked a bit shaky in that ONE game we have played.
But that is the same two at the back that were easily the best defence unit all last season.

We looked shakey at the back against Southampton, not because of our defence, but because of midfield not covering well enough and not tracking back quickly enough when we lost the ball.
We do need another decent centre half, but only for cover and not because the current pairing aren't up to scratch or anything like that.
