I know this questions been asked already today, but now that the kids are out partying or if they are even younger it will be past their bed time, they wont be posting silly rhetoric like yaya banana.
Now that I got that out the way, my question is: will we get anymore player/s in by deadline day? Arsene wenger did say today we will only get a speacial player if we do (we've all heard that before), but asked again whether we have any one in the pipeline he did say we do, and that he has a clear vision on what he wants to do, if it happens it happens, if it doesnt then it doesnt.
My view is that we left it far too late now (spent way to long pursuing sahin), and that most clubs and players are settled in gearing up for the new season. No 'good' players will be available, dont think clubs want to disrupt anything now, as theres no time for clubs to look for replacements now, surprising to us most clubs will like to replace players that leave their club. And also only the players that arent wanted by their clubs will be available (bargain bin players).
It was a good start to the summer with a very dissapointing end with rvp and recently song leaving. It would have been a big morale booster for everyone if we had managed to sign a talented player by now.
So in conclusion nothing will happen from now till deadline day, last year was the exception to the norm due to bad negotiating skills throughout the summer leading to a desperate and embarresing dash to the market.
Next week.

No there is still loads of time to get a few in if needed. We will get at least 1 in.

We still need a versatile defender, I know AW will pick a gem out as usual.
As for another midfielder, I'm gutted we missed out on Sahin, exactly what we needed, and fitted out situation perfectly, eg. we don't need someone for the long term, but just someone to allow Jack to be eased back in..
Now, I'm hedging my bets on Capoue, as we're in need for abit of steel.
Anything else will be a bonus

This happened last year then we signed 3 players on the last day. Players who are leaving their clubs like M'Vila will need to be moved. Just makes it a bit cheaper for us to do it this way.
I know the 8-2 was a big thing with us buying them last year but I like to remain positive

But I have got a feeling for m Vila but wouldn't be shocked if noone came in.

Question is Lex do we get M'Vila for a price that suits us? Why should Rennes drop the price in the final minute to please us?
With our approach to get players I doubt we get any good player Wenger's talking about.

Not sure really, gunnerthru.
What worries me most about a late deal for M'Vila is that it suits the board's parsimonious tendencies more than it Arsene's squad requirements.
Capoue I've not seen enough of to know whether he's a better fit for us or not and Biglia is off to Norwich on loan apparently.

I don't why M'vila is so expensive! He plays for Rennes for crying out loud
