I hope we do get players in, but with this Sahin fiasco, i'm having doubts that we will.

it's not too late at all, the busiest day in every transfer window is deadline day and plenty of deals happen towards the end, we'll still get 2 players imo.

I think we might get another defender, and that'll be it.

M'Vila?

Really surprise me if we move for him now, considering he's been available all summer. And should we go for him, what will waiting so long say about him?

If Arsene really wanted him he'd already by an Arsenal player. If we're waiting for Rennes to drop their price, does that mean he's only rated as a £10m price range player?

Hardly inspiring if so. Especially as the £15m player we just sold to Barca wasn't good enough for our first XI.

No there is still loads of time to get a few in if needed. We will get at least 1 in.

We still need a versatile defender, I know AW will pick a gem out as usual.

As for another midfielder, I'm gutted we missed out on Sahin, exactly what we needed, and fitted out situation perfectly, eg. we don't need someone for the long term, but just someone to allow Jack to be eased back in..

Now, I'm hedging my bets on Capoue, as we're in need for abit of steel.

This happened last year then we signed 3 players on the last day. Players who are leaving their clubs like M'Vila will need to be moved. Just makes it a bit cheaper for us to do it this way.

I know the 8-2 was a big thing with us buying them last year but I like to remain positive

Question is Lex do we get M'Vila for a price that suits us? Why should Rennes drop the price in the final minute to please us?

With our approach to get players I doubt we get any good player Wenger's talking about.

What worries me most about a late deal for M'Vila is that it suits the board's parsimonious tendencies more than it Arsene's squad requirements.

Capoue I've not seen enough of to know whether he's a better fit for us or not and Biglia is off to Norwich on loan apparently.

I don't why M'vila is so expensive! He plays for Rennes for crying out loud
