A few of my mates and I have been arguing over what player brought more to our team: Aiden McGeady or James Forrest?
I must admit I'm a massive James Forrest fan and I always think he contributes a lot, but the statistics are quite surprising.
James Forrest
Minutes Per Goal- 371
Minutes Per Assist- 603
Aiden McGeady
Minutes per goal-480
Minutes per Assist-296
That's quite a massive gulf in terms of assists, did we always expect too much of Aiden because if you asked me before I worked it out I would have thought that Forrest provided more assists for the minutes on the park.
I thought MON may have bid for McGeady, but I don't see that now he's signed Adam Johnson.

Forrest could become a top player but at the moment Mcgeady is on another level.
I think a lot of people took Mcgeady for granted.
Just because mcgeady doesn't look like he's gonna reach his full potential as a player doesn't mean he's still not a top player.
