My thoughts:
Cup game, we win either way. Lose, and it's a fixture off the calendar. Win, and a potential tie against a Premier League side.
We should win tonight, but Oxford are enjoying a decent start to the season, sitting pretty at the top of League Two, so will fancy their chances.

Going up is more important Meme, we all agree on that, unfortunately we have to play cup games, and being Leeds United we like to win, can you remember the outcry when we went out to lesser teams in the past.
If we can maintain the winning mentality within the team we increase our chances of winning league games, it keeps the players mentally strong which as anyone can tell you leads to a greater self belief in the players.

No meme - I'm saying both your scenarios and mine are hypothetical. Of course we all want promotion first but also as we are in the cup I want us to win every game we play irrespective of what team we put out - I take it you want the team you support to lose?!!

This has boiled down to the same tripe we had when Grayson was in charge!..
Do we want these games or not?..
Grayson got hung for them!..
People should ask the players if they want these games or not, I think they are the ones that have to play them and they are the ones that want the rewards that the later stages could bring them if getting there!..
If you were a player in a lower league, would you not like the ManU's, Liverpool's, Arsenal's, Tottenham's and any other in the mix to try and give you something to think back on in older days!..
I'll bet our team of Graysons will remember them days for as long as they live, the same as anyone on here having a day to remember in their jobs!..

Dont post on here often but feel compelled to wish Highland White all the best on becoming a grandad and I now follow you on twitter so will be able to say hi now and again.
Onto the match, I thought Austin looked great in a slightly more advanced role with Brown sitting behind of him. More of that please in front of a Warnock back four and a shout out to Byram who is taking his chances very well
