So it appears we have agreed a fee with Porto for Moutinho but deal us breaking down due to not agreeing personal terms.
Is Levy partly a genius for getting Lyon (Lloris) and Porto (Moutinho) to agree a lowish transfer fee, but then not so genius like when it comes to trying to buy Champions League players who will probably have been on substantial weekly salaries?
This is where Spurs have always struggled, as we have a tightly run wage structure and wage cap limit. Spurs cannot compete with the likes of Chelsea or Arsenal or United when it comes to salaries. Surely AVB or Levy should brief the potential signing as to the Spurs wage structure prior to getting to the last 4 or 5 hours of TDD.
Hope Levy pulls off these deals, but I am massively concerned that VDV and Modric have now left, and we havent got Moutinho or NEW STRIKER in yet with 5 hours to go!!!!!
