We had a squad that had finished 4/5/4th in consecutive seasons and made the QF of the CL. A manager that had taken us from relegation fodder to competing in the top 4 regularly. Then what? We sack that guy, dismantle that squad and bring in a bloke that has one full seasons experience at decent level with Porto before making a dogs dinner of the Chelsea job. We sell our two most creative MF's and don't replace them. We have an obvious striker shortage but focus energy and money on bringing in a 4th goalie.
I don't wanna hear from all the mugs on here that wanted Harry out and back levy to the hilt (like that motormouth chronic who thinks he owns spurs and this board). Some of you got such a hard on for levy coz he took a firm stance with Luka you forget how he treated Jol, or how he let keano & berba go leaving us with bent & Frazier Campbell, or the Ramos fiasco and how he had to get Harry in to save his bacon, or how he leaves all of our business til the last minute of the window meaning we never have a settled start to the season. This guy is a facking joke who is only concerned about making money on players. He wanted Harry to get CL on a shoestring (barely gave him a bean for 4 windows) then sacked him even though he achieved the objective of 4th against the financial might of Chelsea, city & Utd and even Liverpool at that time. How much better did he expect us to do with minimal investment? If anything Harry overachieved with the gap at 3rd and that cost him - and some of you were happy about it yet still have the balls to call yourselves fans. Maybe you forget what a mediocre mid table or worse club we had been for the majority of the PL era?
Does anyone seriously think AVB can do any better than Harry? Does our level of investment or financial clout suggest 4th is not good enough? AVB still has too much to learn, so why are we letting him cut his teeth and make his learning mistakes at our club when we were already going well (generally), playing good football and regularly competing for CL qualification? This guy will be lucky to last a season and all you mugs that were sniffing Levy's pants will have to eat some massive humble pie - baying for Harry's blood just coz he was a bit chummy with the media, so what? We were doing well and playing great football which is all that matters. Yes he made a few errors but overall he did a great job for us and believe me finishing 'only' 4th will seem like a dream compared to the pig swill we're about to be served up this season. I just hope you Harry hating levy lovers can stomach it coz you facking deserve every last mouthful of it.

Weird, this thread has come back, interesting that RDBD believes Ensil deliberately fall on his sword to dispose of LDLuke, that is not what happened. They were in fact both banned at the same time that's true. The reason though was that they had both proven proven themselves to be childish idiots, exchanging personal insults, with not even a pretence that it was football related. Ensil of course kept trying to return, getting re-banned when this was recognised.

MORE interesting is the fact that you have made such a claim when you have filtered me (conveniently avoiding the means to be challenged to a direct reply - but you are a known intellectual coward so no surprise there) .
And just for the record, Ensil was the only one willing to get into the dogfight that finally resulted in LDL being kicked off Spurs 606. He paid the price for it, but we were grateful for it.

It also (finally) kicked off a spate of bannings by the 606 mods in Dec 2010 of various Spurs 606 OCDs. Including the one who claims to be a supporter on your board NOW. And who returned and was re-banned from BBC606 AT LEAST 9 times.

If we're talking about Ensil, I should point out that what you have quoted was not a claim at all, it was an interrogative question.
Ensil generally kept to the Spurs board, my issue with him was was that his stated views on immigration and race made "weare" look left wing. He openly acknowledged that one of his main main reasons for moving to Finland was his belief that England wasn't white enough for him. Racist mug.
