I backed him for sacking redknapp and I stand by that. If redknapp had it his way he'd have left anyway and there was no way I could tolerate another late-feb crumble like the last 2 years. My gripe is the haggling by levy in our transfer dealings - how can he not see how this is helping the team?

The harry out brigade were fools with the memories of goldfish. One CL campaign and suddenly anything less simply wouldn't do - this despite a very modest level of investment from Levy. harry did an excellent job given what he spent and the financial clout he was up against at other clubs, that wasnt good enough for some and they should hang their heads, a facking embarrassment to sack a guy that improved our PL standing so much and had everything drooling over our style.

Stopped reading after this. I think the OP is Harry Redknapp himself, trying to convinced us all that we were in the same class as the likes of wigan and wolves before he came.
The 3 seasons before Harry, we finished 5th twice (only a dodgy lunch away from CL) and won a cup. He hardly performed miracles. He inherited a great squad of players, anything less than challenging for top 4 would be a disappointment.
Last season the players got us to a good start, the problem lay with Harry and not rotating/using effective substitutions which cost us in the last 3 months.

Well City scored straight after QPR did. So I felt better for all of 2 seconds.

Yes we could of lost Harry anyway if he had got his way but at the end of last season he was still our manager. Although he did inherit a decent squad, he also did get us 4th twice. Sacking him was the craziest decision by Levy as I just dont see us getting their with AVB

sandy brown if there's a mug round here it's you - i suppose you wanted our most successful manager of the PL era replaced with a bloke who's PL experience amounts to getting a £15m payoff out of chelsea when the god awful penny dropped for them that he didn't actually know what he was doing?
Harry may have got beat by norwich but in case it escaped that senile old brain of yours he also finished in a CL qualification spot - ie he met his objective and the fans pre-season desire. The fact chelsea ground out the ugliest, luckiset CL win in history to cancel it out was unfortunate. And before you give me the "yeah but he blew 3rd place" BS spouted by all Levy apologists, it was only his over achievement that gives you licence to criticise him for that anyway. we had an excellent run of form in the first half of the season, this was tempered by a mediocre/poor run in the second half meaning our overall form evened out to a 4th place finish which was our target in the first place. Still not good enough for those with the sort memories who have clearly forgotten Pleat, ramos, Hod, GG, Gross et al.

Harry wasn't good, he just capitalised on the drop in ability of liverpool and chelsea. Spurs were already a side bordering on 4th anyway before he came.
The first time spurs got 4th was because Liverpool were on the downward spiral and Man City weren't quite ready to take their place in the top 4 yet. The following season Man City were ready and rightly took 4th which is why you finished 5th. The second time spurs took 4th(last season) was because Chelsea had a very poor season by our recent standards.
So dont "mug" me pal, it's fickle hypocritical fools like you that make me ashamed to be a spurs fan, you're nothing but an embarrassment. That goes for you as well grandspurs, and that ganga smoking waste of organs chronic.
