We are back at Sharjah for the deciding fixture between Pakistan and Australia. Can Pakistan claim their first series win over Australia since... Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon?
Well this is their best chance...
Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Nasir Jamshed, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Umar Akmal, Kamran Akmal (wkt), Shahid Afridi, Abdur Rehman, Saeed Ajmal, Junaid Khan
Australia: DA Warner, MS Wade (wkt), MJ Clarke (capt), MEK Hussey, DJ Hussey, GJ Bailey, GJ Maxwell, DT Christian, MG Johnson, MA Starc, JL Pattinson
Those Stats again:
• Australia said they "Aim to limit Ajmal's impact"- Saeed Ajmal has taken 7-62 in 20 overs so far in this series.

I love cricket if the truth be known Dunc. That said, any tour that does not involve test match cricket is a complete waste of time.
Travelling to India or Australia or Scotland and only playing ODI or T20 doesn't even count for anything in my book.
And no series needs more than a handful of ODIs and one T20 match. Do you remember the 6:1 thrashing you gave us after the ashes mate? Let's be honest, win or lose, didn't you think 7 ODI matches was painful?
In a perfect world, five tests, 3 ODIs and 1 T20 would be right, on my planet anyway
Hope you are well bud, and joking apart, congrats on winning the series yesterday. If I am to be honest, that was a decent effort.
This is a wum free post ( for once)

Agreed, 7 ODIs is bloody awful. We're about to play 5 T20s against Pakistan, think I'm going to end it all now.
Decent effort? Pakistan should have won, they had the better team for the conditions, was their series to lose, seamers let them down badly. Aus looked completely out of sorts against Ajmal.

lol I saw your post yesterday about five T20 matches. What on earth is anybody going to learn after all that?
Yesterday Afridi had a shocker when the series was up for grabs. What impressed me most about Australia was the amount of players you had that could hit sixes. This guy maxwell looks like a really good player mate? I haven't seen much of him so know nothing about him but yesterday was impressive.

With regards to Ajmal Dunc. Is there a better bowler in the world right now? He will make plenty of players look out of sorts.

Sorry the Dude, you are right, still that's 2 too many.
Maxwell, being a Victorian, is naturally going to be incredibly good at cricket.

Can't you be serious for 2 seconds? :p

Vernon Philander is probably the best bowler on current form. Steyn is the best bowler of his generation and Ajmal is slightly behind him. If I had to pick one of the three I'd pick Ajmal because there is a dearth of quality spinners right now.

I'm still embarrassed about saying that.

Maksi,
now you know why my absence on 606 is beneficial for England. I predicted since I am back now, they will lose to SA. And you see now they are losing. Too bad man.
