Sharjah is a classic bat first track as chasing is very difficult on that bunsen burner of a track.
I will make one change which is drop no ball Tanvir (for good) and bring in Afridi.
I say bring back Afridi for Rehman, drop Tanvir for Anwar Ali... I want to see what he's made of. It would be pretty stupid just to select him for T20's. What will that show? If he fails, will he all of a sudden become rubbish and never picked again? Selectors fault 100% or whoever is picking the team. Anwar Ali needs to be given a proper chance.

Australia win the toss... and you guessed it right, they want to bowl.
Australia unchanged.
Pakistan make one change. Afridi in for Tanvir.
Perfect for Pakistan Amir but they must bat sensibly and aim for 230. The Aussies will struggle to chase that with our spin options.
Australia's decision to bowl first "Pakistan playing 4 spinners, dew factor later on in the night, so they expect less turn"
I have a feeling had Pakistan won the toss, they may have bowled first too.

Come on Pakistan. Make me proud
Very good start by the Australian bowlers but now Jamshed has hit 3 quick boundaries and the run rate goes straight over 5.2. Early days but good batting this.
Mohammed Hafeez has no clue how to play Fast Bowling. He got lucky there with that edge, very lucky...
He either plays Fast Bowling too early or too late. Never can play it properly and never will.
I suppose if you are going to edge it, then you might as well nearly edge it for SIX
26-0 after 5 overs. Very good start.
93-0 - very decent start. Finally using there brains and done there homework on the history of the ground.
This is why I feel Hafeez should stay at the top of the order. He may find his form difficult, but these two have constantly put on very good partnerships. And at times it is the case of the guy at the other end plays well because of who is at the other end.
Their average partnership is 85+
And, now the 100 is up, only the second time there has been a 100 run opening stand for a Pakistani pair against Australia.
Another SIX by Hafeez against Pattinson!
Bum bum did well to score 6 today
I check the score after 20 mins and Afridi has come and gone.
If anything Umar Akmal should've come at 3 or his brother.
Mitchell Johnson 7-0-24-2
