Morning all,
I have been asked to write a match preview of the Blackburn v Wolves game at Ewood Park on Saturday the 6th October on one of our local forums.
I wondered if anyone could signpost me to the most accurate information sources available for your club please to research the Wolves accurately. Any site with accurate little anecdotes or quirky stories would be pleasing as well, as would any memories any of you hold from previous games between the two clubs home or away.
If no-one minded, I would also like to post a few questions nearer the time relating to your team, new signings, the new manager and your expectations and wishes for this season.
In the late 70's when young and when the Rovers were marooned lower down the leagues my 2nd team was Wolves, primarily as kids do, because I liked the kit. Ever since I have always kept an eye out for your results and was therefore pleased to be covering this game for our supporters.
I am still trying to get used to the Championship after a period in the PL and most at Ewood are struggling to repsect the new owners and management team. Two wins and two draws to date for us, but it hasn't been pretty and we could have easily lost all four.
Bristol City away is next for us, having already played Ipswich, Hull, Leicester and Leeds.

Cheers tatter...I presume there is some info on the official Wolves website so will start from there. I wondered if there was a particular fans forum you all used away from here, or a website with lots of additional information to consider.

Thinking about it, wasn't that game against Blackburn? Went to that and also remember it was on MOTD. Not sure if that was the actual game where he surfed the crowd.

Just checked, and Dougan's first match as Wolves Chairman was at home to Blackburn 1982
Wolves won 2-1 with a Mel Eves winner.
