We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Souleymane Coulibaly to join the Club.

The 16-year-old striker hit nine goals in four games for the Ivory Coast during the recent Under-17 World Cup - which included a hat-trick against Brazil and four against Denmark - to secure the golden boot and equal the tournament record set by former Liverpool striker Florent Sinama Pongolle, who achieved the milestone with three more games ten years ago.

Souleymane had previously been part of the youth team of Italian side AC Siena.

Anyone know anything about him? I'll reserve judgement but I assume that he is a future prospect and now one that will have an impact on the upcoming season.

I don't think this lad is going to go on loan, I think he will be used initially on the bench, certainly in the CC & gradually introduced into the first team proper.

He is not like Kane, Bostock or any of the other youngsters...............I think this one is destined for big things & he could emulate the start in the PL the likes of Rooney & Owen enjoyed.

Seen more in those 2 games to be impressed by, than Ive seen all season from any spurs strikers. Hope he gets a decent chance in the team.
