Pardew has admitted he could sell Ba in january for 7 million. If thats the case he is someone we should really be looking to purchase. I cant really see any other Premier League sides being able to accomodate him other than possibly Arsenal, Spurs and Everton if they have the funds.
He is proven quality when it comes to banging in goals amd could just be what we are looking for. Get it done Brendan.

The Verbal Jouster (U11370)
I don't understand then because everybody who I play/played with who was at a decent level like yoruself generally has a bit more respect for players who are professionals. Even blue square players are bloody good at football.
As said it's more the sarkyness of remarks with no solutions. It;s okay to be frustrated but you seem not to sing when we're not winning if you know what I mean.

Robbing i appreciate that you and other 606ers dont know me so it would come accross sarcastic and irrating but i have a very dry sense of humour and i am guilty of being sarcastic but it mustn't come accross to well in writing.....
please note i never get personal with anyone and love the banter, i hate boring threads like name your favourite ground etc....i do admitt i like a good moan

You see I'm a glass half full kind of bloke but I do feel genuinely lucky to support LFC. We win things and I've had some wicked times thanks to this club.
Imagine supporting Everton!

sorry if i come accross as a but i am very frustrated with the club. i do appreciate that we are mopping up the mess from the previous regime but for 20 odd years we haven't won the league and it looks at least another 20 away
---------------------------------------
And if we don't win it for another 20 years will you love the club less? The whole point of supporting a club is that you get behind them in the bad times. It isn't a choice.
We were very lucky that we were an amazingly successful club in the 70s and 80s. We continued some of that success over the last 20 years in cup competitions but we haven't won the league.
Other supporters of other clubs have gone longer, Man Utd 26 years before 1993, Chelsea - 50 years before 2003, Man City 45 years.
I'm sure you love the club in your own way, but it sounds as though you're a bit fairweather - that your love only comes from the fact that we are a successful club. Apologies if that isn;t the case, but thats how it sounds.
When your club needs most support is when things aren't going so well. What we seem to get then is all the moaners, kneejerkers and negative people coming out. Crticise your club by all means, but be fair. We are where we are because of a few years where our club was almost run down to the ground. It takes time to rebuild it.

I share a lot of your concerns, and when you see the calibre of player that other clubs like City, Chelsea and United are signing I only really see us going one way. But football has changed so much in recent times and i'm afraid we have not adapted well enough to these changes as a club. Some of that through miss management at all levels but a lot of it down to matters out of our control.

Fat Jan - i am not a fairweahther fan but i do get frustrated far too easy.
I acknowledge i may be harsh on certain players but they a big enough and are paid enough money to take a bit of stick
I wont budge on the striker issue - i cant recall feeling so deflated about one issue like i do over this one

I think we can all agree that the striker issue is a problem and a mistake was made. Everybody including the manager and owners seem to accept that but it's done now and all we can do is get behind the players we DO have.
I find it disappointing that you slate Carragher so much, a player who has given the club most of his life and a massive part of the success we've had since he's been playing. The others are young players who deserve our full support until they either realise their potential( which will be a lot easier with our support) or they don't and are moved on.
