I don't know why lots of people on here are acting as if we are in the middle of a big crisis. We are so far unbeaten and top of the league, still nicely placed in the Champions League and the current holders of the trophy and the FA Cup, yes losing the lead the other night was disappointing and there are some minor differences between us all about the direction that the management are taking us in, and the way the team plays, but some perspective is needed here by some Chelsea fans.
A crisis is not having a pot to pi55 in and "Save the Bridge" buckets, not like now where we have shedloads of money and a board that don't mind splashing the cash.
A crisis is where the Club was on it's uppers after the debacle with the East Stand, the team and management falling apart in front of our eyes and looking like going out of business and was later being run by Administrators like Martin Spencer.
A crisis is being relegated by Spurs at White Hart Lane.
A crisis is when one of our own directors David Mears sold the ground from underneath our feet to SB Properties (later Marler Estates).
A crisis is years of being stuck in the second division for donkeys years and losing 0-6 at places like Rotherham with Fillery missing a penalty.
A crisis is when having been stuck in the second division for all them years we nearly go down to the third division on almost the last day, while our rivals like Spurs have just retained the FA Cup and then would shortly go on to win the UEFA Cup.
A crisis is when Marler own all the grounds in West London and make noises about us sharing with QPR / Fulham or whatever while those chinless wonders build a load of flats on the site of the Bridge. We then have to fight a 7 year rearguard legal action and bankrupt Marler in order to get our ground back.
A crisis is when the only day we ever get to see Wembley is by grabbing competitions like the Full Members Cup with both hands, not like the almost annual procession there these days for the FA Cup or whatever.
A crisis is when you look at the League tables near the bottom to find Chelsea or the division below, not there at the top or thereabouts for almost every year.
Yeah we all want the same thing ie. the best for our Club and we all show we care in different ways, some positive, some negative, but believe me when I say boys - We've never had it so good as it is now
I'd like to thank Mr. Chelsea for his help in making this article, and I can confirm that no animals or people were injured in the making of it

Oh so everything is fine just because we have done worse in the past. But you forgot that we hadn't the resource we have now. Performances are judged relatively based on the quality of the squad.
Saying there is no problem because there were bigger problems in the past is a bad attitude that will take us nowhere.

I'd suggest that you read the article again. I never said that there were "No problems" but the problems that we do have are being blown out of all proportion by some on here. There are some very short memoried posters on here that are even calling for his head already after 5 games, while we sit currently top of the pile, with the Champions League and FA Cup trophies still warm in our pockets. Those individuals are the ones with the bad attitude, not me.
You seem as if you are not a fan of Mikel, well I've got news for you I have never been a fan of Mikel and If I had had my way we would have sold him years ago, but all the Chelsea managers over these years have seen fit to pick him and we have won things with him, so I'm going to allow them to do the job that they were employed to do and accept that they must obviously know more than me.

That's just our fans i'm afraid. I used to find our instant negative assumptions a complete pain but since joining the old 606 funnily enough, i've found it to be a humble, endearing quality very few fanbases possess.
It might have something to do with sudden elevated stardom, cos i've noticed City's fans have a similar complex.

We´re not in a crisis by any means. But we do have some problems and the fans can clearly see what those problems are.
I don´t even think that we have that many problems in truth.
We need to start playing Ramires in central midfield instead of on the wing and if possible we need to recall Lukaku and DeBruyne from their loan spells in January.
In a nutshell that would solve many of our problems I think.

Psycho, we've always had this quality, back in the day the old-style Chelsea supporters always expected the worst, because that was normally what we got!! But we also now have a new breed of bandwaggoners who want instant gratification or somebody's head should be on a platter.
For my part I still can't quite believe that we win the trophies that we now do. Long may that continue

I started supporting Chelsea in the 1990´s when the last thing we´d won was the European Cup Winners Cup in 1971.
I never imagined that we´d won day win titles and the Champions League. I still have to pinch myself that we actually won the Champions League. My brain has trouble accepting it for some reason.
