Yeah what you say is true, but there are still problems, and ignoring them by saying things have been worse is hardly the right thinking
Word is Portsmouth would accept our problems right now
Haha All I did was to give you a little suggestion to you to make this into an article mate. Every scenario you describe hammers in the overall point you're making about what crisis?
Made me think twice about my posts and articles
The only thing i would ask for is Akinfenwa's signature, then Chelsea FC are set for years of domination
I'm not sure where certain people are drawing terms like 'overreaction', 'knee jerk', and 'crisis' from the opinions of this forum the past few months? I don't even consider the general conscious to be negative, ponderous at worst.
Aside from the odd opinionated poster, everyone seems pretty much in agreement that the tools for our own improvement are at hand, or at least accessable with time, it's just a case of when and how we use them. Crisis would be if we all felt strongly that something important was broken without a fix, or we have a con artist as a manager
Or getting hammered 7-0 at Molineux and 7-2 at Ayersome Park!
NPE - I'm not ignoring the problems mate, if you look at some of my recent postings you will see that I have been quite vocal on some of them, for example I gave my views on Mikel yesterday and Torres today.
I'm only saying that compared to most Club's (including the old Chelsea Football Club), we don't have too many serious ones.
crisis ha, i really feel for Rangers and we are moaning about drawing with Juventus. I don't necessarily trust Robbie or the current crop of players but i do trust my fellow fans to be here moaning whatever happens. Kind of glad im too young to have lived through those Chelsea sides.
Oh so everything is fine just because we have done worse in the past. But you forgot that we hadn't the resource we have now. Performances are judged relatively based on the quality of the squad.
Saying there is no problem because there were bigger problems in the past is a bad attitude that will take us nowhere.
I think the majority of us acknowledge that Ramires at RW, Torres as CF and Mikel^Lampard axis give cause for concern.
But it is the assumed pessimism that comes along with these views that is over the top. Fans are assuming after 5 games that these problems will not be solved and that the manager is unaware of them.
Fans are accusing RDM of being overly defensive in his selections, despite the fact that it should be clear to everyone he is trying to find the right balance of the team, and that history would suggest that could take several months.
The tolerance shown last season towards AVB was far greater, and yes I accept AVB did not have the players that RDM now has, but in a way that made his job simpler, well it should have done had he not tried the impossible.
The expectation for this season should be for top 4 finish and a team that show signs of evolving into a title challenger for next season and a team that plays good to watch football, good to watch from both an offensive and defensive viewpoint.
The expectation for this season should be for top 4 finish
Don't think that is Abramovich's

I'd suggest that you read the article again. I never said that there were "No problems" but the problems that we do have are being blown out of all proportion by some on here. There are some very short memoried posters on here that are even calling for his head already after 5 games, while we sit currently top of the pile, with the Champions League and FA Cup trophies still warm in our pockets. Those individuals are the ones with the bad attitude, not me.
You seem as if you are not a fan of Mikel, well I've got news for you I have never been a fan of Mikel and If I had had my way we would have sold him years ago, but all the Chelsea managers over these years have seen fit to pick him and we have won things with him, so I'm going to allow them to do the job that they were employed to do and accept that they must obviously know more than me.
But it is the assumed pessimism that comes along with these views that is over the top

That's just our fans i'm afraid. I used to find our instant negative assumptions a complete pain but since joining the old 606 funnily enough, i've found it to be a humble, endearing quality very few fanbases possess.
It might have something to do with sudden elevated stardom, cos i've noticed City's fans have a similar complex.
We´re not in a crisis by any means. But we do have some problems and the fans can clearly see what those problems are.
I don´t even think that we have that many problems in truth.
We need to start playing Ramires in central midfield instead of on the wing and if possible we need to recall Lukaku and DeBruyne from their loan spells in January.
In a nutshell that would solve many of our problems I think.
