Ashdown- made me nervous when he was passed back to, other than that reliable, solid and made good saves when called upon.
byram- started shaky, rain didnt help this control, got into the game and battled hard, good passing and linked well with white.
lees- VERY impressive, showed what he can do, good last ditch tackles, body on the line, play like that every game please tom.
pearce- same as lees, body on line, 8 stiches and battles on, thats what we have come to expect from him, captain fantastic, both can play in prem soon i think.
pugh- was this actually pugh? good performance at lb, supported tonge down the left and got stuck in, wasnt troubled too much but good backup.
white- great goal, our biggest threat going forward in my opinion, worked hard to support byram, showed what he can do and how he should play every game. Impressed, keep it up and he should start every week.
austin- what can i say, austin was just austin, a machine, a mountain, a brick, scored a goal and bullied their midfield, alround complete cm.
brown- great defensive midfielder display, pressed and chased the ball down, good tackles and for a 35 year old has the legs, better backup than we thought? pushing for a start.
tonge- didnt expect him out wide left but you know what? he is getting better each game, good feet, good passing, his experience with brown and diouf helped us through.
becchio- held ball really well, good headers and good headed attempt, tired near the end. Worked very hard.
diouf- motm, knows what to do, when to do it and how to do it, experienced, quality, commited, needs a longer contract, if he was a few years younger with his new attitude i think he would be much higher, love him, needs to add abit more of a threat in attack but he is our most creative player, creating for others so i will forgive him for now.
at a time we are questioning a few players they come up and show why we belived in them, our young players was like men tonight, lees, white, byram and pearce.
I have proberly got abit ahead of myself but if we play like that in the league with our players back from injury and a few incomings in january i dont see why we cant go up. Bring on bristol.

For his standards, I thought Luciano Becchio had a quiet game.
Least influential player for me today but he has been immense for most of the rest of the games.
I still prefer him over Beckford.

I assume you was nervous with Ashdown because of the deflected back pass but that was totally the passers fault
