Celtic Football Club statement

THE Scottish Football Association today announced new board changes and Celtic CEO, Peter Lawwell, has been appointed to serve on the Professional Game Board.

A spokesperson for Celtic FC commented: "It is well known that following events last year, Celtic called for a fundamental review of the processes and procedures within the SFA.

"We fully supported Stewart Regan's plan for reform and we feel that the creation of this new Board is a very positive outcome of the SFA's own review.

Peter Lawwell, on behalf of Celtic Football Club, will be pleased to accept this invitation to join the Professional Game Board. He will aim to make an important contribution to the continued change and improvement of the game in Scotland".

The SFA today issued the following statement: "At the Scottish FA AGM on June 7, the members approved changes to the Articles of Association resulting in the formation of the Professional Game Board and the Non-Professional Game Board.

After receiving nominations, the following board compositions have been confirmed:

Professional Game Board:
Chairman: Rod Petrie
Members: Jim Ballantyne, Neil Doncaster, Peter Lawwell, David Longmuir, Alan McRae, Campbell Ogilvie, Stewart Regan, Sandy Stables and Ralph Topping.

Non-Professional Game Board**:
Chairman: Alan McRae
Members: Donald Beaton, John Gold, Colin Holden, Tom Johnston, David Little, Maureen McGonigle, Campbell Ogilvie, Rod Petrie, Stewart Regan, Andrew Renwick.

** Scottish Amateur FA NPGB member to be advised."

Oh, and you expect me to believe Fitz's bodge job when the site where he has lifted it from can't even spell "Scottish" but instead spells it as "Scottuish"

Scottish title in 39 and 47

Plus 6 Southern league titles . = 8

Now there is an explanation in there as to why...but it would be wasted on you.

Seems like someone has been editing the wiki page

According to the above link, Rangers only won 5 Southern leagues with Aberdeen winning the last one...

Another blow to the cause

Well I must say it's been a few years since I've seen a Bear go for the old 39 - 47 routine.

Last time I saw it was about 8 years ago on the old AOL forum.

Even the Bears told him to shut up and stop making a Van Vossen of himself.

Belter.

Have another on me.
