PES 13 vs FIFA 13

Bought the new PES last Friday and after years in the wilderness (and FIFA's shadow) it has returned with a great offering this time, I have bought FIFA since 09 but the real gamers would always say that PES in it's day was a proper game, where as FIFA was more for show, kind of agreed but FIFA recently had been the best of a bad bunch.
PES has got it's act together at last (and it has got the African teams in also in response to another thread),..............spend your money wisely chaps!!!!

I don't understand why people who prefer PES over Fifa seem so disgusted that someone else would prefer Fifa over PES, so they must be pulled in by marketing, or by EA etc. rather than actually preferring the game.

gonna wait a few months before making my decision but atm I'm leaning towards this year's pro evo

I think people choose fifa because is has all the gimmicks and all their mates play it!

Pro is facing an uphill battle and they would need more shinny things to attract the winder market!!

Now football, FIFA has come on leaps and bounds and even copied Pro quite a lot, when Pro lost its way.

But FIFA is too polished, passing is good but it feels very weighted and overhaul it feels like a simulation!!

Pro has always had that realistic feel, when a game can be scrappy, when defenders can be on top, scrambles in the box and when the passing is end to end and when you do score a goal its overly satisfying!!

I aint played 13 yet, but Im looking forward to it!!
